A long time ago I resigned myself to the fact that Mr Bailey likes loves his football. He is an avid supporter of The Spurs or COYS if you prefer and takes every opportunity to see them in the flesh. After missing out on seeing SPURS play (living in Switzerland makes it difficult) we decided that we should look into supporting a local football team.
This post will not contain any photographs of Spurs players (Sadly, I am not able to get a press pass to shoot here)
Our new team of choice is Lausanne Sports – newly promoted to the Swiss first division and to date at the bottom of the league, we do not take offense to the fact that each game we have seen played they have lost.
This post will not contain any photographs of Lausanne Sports players (again sadly I do not yet have a press pass, but I am working on it and hopeful that in a few weeks I will be shooting at the Olympic stadium)
So, what photographs will this post contain?? You are being treated to the plucky endeavors of a local far from professional football team, you could almost class it as Sunday league. Ladies and Gentlemen I introduce you to the world of the The SDS football team. In their own words:
The SDS are a ex-pats football team based in the Vevey area, we enjoy a good kick-about once a week followed by a few beers.
Due to the SDS I am now a football widow, normally at least once per week. So to display my revenge support I will be attending matches they play, camera in hand, zoom lens at the ready…and showing these fine mens skills in all their glory…you have been warned!
